Professor Juan Carlos Torres and Celia Romo Peña from the Granada Graphics Goup, University of Granada, Spain, will be based at the Thornoton Science Park from July to September 2016. The Granada Graphics Group have recently developed a new representation scheme for 3D solids (Conde-Rodríguez, 2015). During their stay in Chester, the goal is to collaborate with the Medical Graphics Group at Thornton to adapt the model to support deformable volumes that can be applied to haptic surgery simulation for medical applications.
